Windy White Rumped Sandpiper

I am continuing to gather a collection of shorebirds from this area that I previously captured the American Avocet and the Red Necked Phalarope, making this small South Dakota wetland quickly become my favorite shorebirding areas close to home.

The only downside, as usual, the South Dakota wind makes the video work next to impossible but I salvaged what I could of these White-Rumped Sandpipers as the clung to the calmest shoreline on the prairie grounds to preen their feathers.

Enjoy,
