Bill considers himself a lifelong learner and dedicated to the study of his craft. Winter “garage projects” provide the opportunity to test techniques and master his skills. This set of photos demonstrates a technique called light painting. They are a combination of images, each lit with a single low-powered bulb to paint different parts of the subject. This experiment allowed Bill to study how highlights and shadows work together resulting in a dramatic end result.
